Wall cracks
Service Description
An effective way to permanently and economically repair the crack is to inject a water activated urethane resin under pressure into the crack. The method requires drilling 5/8" holes into the wall at an angle toward the crack. Urethane resin is systematically pumped into the crack through the holes. Since the resin is pumped into the middle of the crack, the resin flows towards the inside and outside of the wall, sealing the entire thickness of the wall. The urethane resin reacts with the water and forms a flexible waterproof gasket inside the crack from the top to bottom and front to back. If the wall moves again, the gasket moves along without breaking the seal, so the seal lasts forever. Urethane injection has been used as high tech repair for dams, tunnels, subways, and manholes in commercial and industrial applications. A residential wall crack is well within the capabilities of this amazingly effective procedure.
